We started our family-owned nuisance wildlife control business south of Gainesville in Johns Creek. Since we came from 3 generations of wildlife trappers it was natural for us to have the desire to provide trapping services as a business. We found it to be easy for us to continue to excel in providing excellent results in combination with humane preservation of all wildlife. Even though the company added a second location in Dawsonville, so now it is even easier for us to maintain our route for Wildlife Removal & now Pest Control services in Gainesville.
If you live in Gainesville and have Bats, Rats, Squirrels, Woodpeckers, Snakes, Coyote or any other nuisance wildlife that has invaded your home or yard – CALL US WE CAN HELP! (678) 935-5900
Here are the steps necessary to resolve the wildlife problem completely:
1) WILDLIFE TRAPPING: We provide a flat-rate fee for our trapping services and they include daily trap checks (it is required by LAW according to our license).
2) GUARANTEED CRITTER-PROOFING: We seal up your home with a 5 – 10 year warranty (depending on basic wildlife or bat) without any annual fees. See our page on Animal-Proofing.
3) PREVENTION: On most critters, we provide you with a list of any habitat modifications, which are things you can change in your yard to make it less hospitable to wildlife. We get them OUT & Keep them OUT! We offer extremely effective rodent & snake prevention programs with quarterly visits.
Due to the fact that everyone involved in this company is a “partner” (owner) in the business, everyone on your property has a vested interest in our success. Our goal is to quickly assess the situation to determine which critter is causing the problem and devise a strategy to quickly GET them out & keep them OUT! We will explain the problem and our process in a clear manner without using scare-tactics.
We provide a two-step approach to getting the squirrels out & keeping them out. Squirrel trapping alone is seldom the solution, it is typically the 1st step. Our squirrel trapping services are always a one-week endeavor. We check our traps every single day and we do whatever we have to do to make the most out of your trapping dollars. It is the law in the State of Georgia that squirrels are cage trapped and released unharmed in their natural environment. While we are there every day, we inspect your home to determine what needs to be sealed on your home to keep the squirrels out. We provide you with a no-obligation quote to squirrel-proof (a.k.a. exclude) your home. Our exclusion comes with a 5-year warranty and zero annual fees.

In Gainesville, rat control is very common and one of the most popular services that we provide. Believe me when I say that you are not alone. Spotting rats inside your home can be a terrifying experience for some. We try to calm the nerves and assure our clients that we can & will get it resolved quickly! When we trap inside a home we use covered (protected) traps for discretion and child/pet safety. Same as with our squirrel trapping, rat trapping involves a two-step approach to getting the rats out & keeping them out. Trapping alone is never the solution, it is the 1st step. Trapping gets the rats that are in the home out but does nothing to prevent future guests.
Our rat trapping services are always a one-week endeavor. We are there every day checking the traps and doing whatever we have to do to make the most out of your trapping dollars. It is the law in the State of Georgia that the traps must be checked every day. While we are there every day, we have the opportunity to inspect your home to determine what we would have to seal on your home, using critter-proof material, to keep the rats & mice from coming into your home again. We provide you with a no-obligation quote to rodent-proof (a.k.a. exclusion) your home. Our exclusion comes with a 5-year warranty and zero annual fees.
Snakes are prolific in Gainesville. Heck, they are all over Georgia! It takes more than one measure to control snakes, hence our 3-step approach is the most successful means to keep snakes out. We send a licensed & trained Wildlife Technician to your property to scour for snakes for 1/2 hour. Since we understand snakes we can simply scan your yard and immediately be drawn to the suspect areas where the snakes would tend to hide out. Once removed, we provide you with a list of things in your yard that you can change to make it less hospitable to snakes. This is called habitat modification. Inevitably the less comfort (hiding spots) the snakes find in your yard, the less likely they are to stick around.
We now offer a snake prevention program that involves a visit every quarter to strategically apply the repellent. Our repellent is the only repellent that we have found to be effective. It is safe for plants, kids, and pets. Since it lasts around 3 months, we offer an annual program with quarterly retreats. Once we walk your property we know how much time & material it would take to provide you with the costs and you can decide if you would like to start this program. Call us (678)935-5900
Let us start by sharing an important fact with you… Bats are a PROTECTED species. No matter who handles removing the bats, bats cannot be harmed in the process. Furthermore, harming a bat can result in hefty fines, so we encourage you to hire LICENSED Bat Removal specialists to get the job done. Upon our inspection, we give you a price to remove the bats (either hand removal or using a one-way valve), to seal the home so they cannot come back in and to clean up any guano. If acceptable, we get started immediately to evict the bats.
Most noteworthy, our bat exclusion comes with a 10-year Bat Warranty with ZERO annual fees. Most competitor’s quotes include annual fees ranging from $99 – $450. Yikes!
If you have a bat flying around the INSIDE of your home, there are some important steps that need to be taken after the bat is captured: “click here” or you can go to our main page for bat removal & control measures.
We have several options & services for hornet nest removal. We offer a chemical-free option to remove the entire hive (queen, pupae, and hive) so there is no chance of restructuring or re-establishing the hive. Sometimes there is not an option to do a chemical-free hive removal or it is cost-prohibitive and the cheaper, more effective means will be to use pesticides. Our Licensed Pest Control Tech will explain the options.
However, when it comes to honeybees we gently remove the hive and relocate them so they can continue to do their job, just not in your home. Honeybee hive removals are always more involved because there is a lot of cleanup inside your wall involving the comb and honey. You do not want to leave that in the wall. But there is also a lot of time tacked on for gear clean-up afterward. We do our best to keep the prices down. Call us to discuss your specific situation. We can help! (678) 935-5900.
Be careful when dealing with birds, all but 3 species are protected birds and harming one comes with some hefty fines! When it comes to Nuisance Birds the damage they can do is often underestimated. Each situation is different. We have options: some we can trap with a permit if the circumstances are right. We can offer hazing services without a permit. The type of hazing devices either electronic or manual auditory or visual depends on the species of bird. There are lots of options for removing the birds, scaring them off and keeping them away. We can help!
Surprisingly we get a lot of phone calls about coyotes in Gainesville. We are very selective about the coyote & fox trapping jobs that we accept. The circumstances & setting has to be right for us to get involved. All predator trapping (fox trapping & coyote trapping) are two-week jobs which include daily trap checks. Not only is it the LAW accordance to our licensure but it is humane & less of a liability. We have only one Licensed Wildlife Trapper who specializes in the predators. Call us to discuss the details of your situation.
Raccoon trapping is in a class of its own, hence, we do not always provide a quote to seal a home. We like being transparent when outlining the benefits of a full home exclusion. When a home is rodent-proofed a raccoon can still get in if they want in bad enough. Oftentimes they gain access by tearing the shingles, siding, or trim boards right off a sealed home. We do not like giving people a false sense of security when it comes to keeping raccoons out. Therefore, the best measure we can offer is to provide trapping services for one week with daily trap checks. Population control is the answer!
One of our specialized trapping services, aquatic species, includes beaver & otter trapping. These jobs, like predator trapping, are for 2-weeks at a time and not the standard 1-week timeframe. By far the highest concern in the beaver trapping industry is finding a trapper who abides by the law and performs daily trap checks. The price of Beaver trapping completely depends on the size and type of waterway, the area that the beaver trapper must travel to set & check his traps as well as the terrain. Time & Effort = Money. When you call us to discuss the problem we will provide you with a range for the trapping based upon your specific job needs and circumstances. Upon completion of trapping, a quote for dam removal services to restore the natural water flow will be provided. Please note, Buckhead is the farthest we go for beaver trapping.
Possums (Grinners) are beneficial as the nighttime clean-up crew. They remove a lot of things that you would not want in your yard anyways. Possums are not the brightest of critters that we trap, hence, probably one of the easiest to trap. If a den is located, we can provide you with a quote to treat the ticks and fleas that have more likely infested the den. Our possum trapping services are for one-week and it includes daily trap checks… it is the law!
If you have a dead animal in your yard, attic or in a wall we can search for the source and offer means of removal & odor control. If it is in your yard we can pick it up and you do not have to be home. We will grab it and get payment over the phone and email the receipt. Some of the dead animals that we pick up are:
We might be able to provide you with a quote to repair any damages that were caused by the wildlife – it just depends on the type of damages. (Example of situations where you would not want a wildlife specialist to address the damage… electrical wires chewed, trim carpentry work for aesthetics has to be replaced, HVAC ductwork, etc.) Furthermore, we could provide the following clean-up services when needed: latrine & feces removal and/or deodorization & sanitization services. Not only is the odor & feces removal an important step for comfort sake, but removing the odors also lessens the chances of attracting other critters.
