Snake Removal & Prevention Service 

Dahlonega Snake Control calls are an everyday call.  Heck, actually they are prolific in all of Georgia!  Snake Control takes more than one measure and that is why we are so successful at keeping snakes out of our client’s yards!  We send a licensed & trained Wildlife Technician to your property to scour for snakes for 1/2 hour.  We understand snakes and can simply look at your yard and know where the snakes would tend to hide.  We remove any snakes that we find.  We also provide you with a list of things in your yard that you can change to make it less hospitable to snakes, this is called habitat modification.  The less comfort the snakes find your property to be… the less likely they are to stick around.  So please take these habitat modifications seriously.

 Bat Control & Bat Removal

Let us start by sharing an important fact with you… Bats are a PROTECTED species.  No matter who handles removing the bats, bats cannot be harmed in the process.  Harming a bat can result in hefty fines so we encourage you to hire specially trained LICENSED Dahlonega Bat Removal Specialists.  When we come out to perform an inspection.  We give you a price to remove the bats (either hand removal or using a one-way valve), to seal the home so they cannot come back in and to clean up any guano.  If the price is acceptable, we get started immediately to evict the bats.  WHAT MAKES US STAND OUT is the FREE 2-year warranty with optional LIFETIME renewal!

Mole Trapping & Control

Our approach to controlling a mole situation usually involves Two (2) standard measures:   Trapping & Baiting.

MOLE TRAPPING:  The first step is setting traps in the active tunnels.  These traps are designed to kill them quickly underground & humanely.

MOLE BAITING:  When appropriate we can strategically place mole bait underground to attract the moles and once they eat the bait they die.  We flag where there is bait and have a method to retrieve bait before we leave if they have not taken the bait away or eaten it all.  Either way, the problem is resolved.

As a stand-alone service, not included in the trapping or baiting program is our stellar gassing program.

MOLE GASSING: When the situation is appropriate, we can utilize equipment designed to kill moles inside their tunnels using a carbon monoxide gas.

This process uses a Carbon Monoxide Device that utilizes a smoke oil tracer to show you where most of the Carbon Monoxide is going. Carbon Monoxide can be used as an effective approach to control of burrowing rodents. As the Carbon Monoxide enters the burrow system, the rodent breathes it in. The Carbon Monoxide then replaces the oxygen in their blood. And without oxygen, cells in the body die and organs stop working.

Our mole control program is the most we can do as humans to have the upper hand in controlling the mole population in our yard.

Woodpecker Control & Goose Control

Be careful when dealing with birds, all but 3 species are protected birds and harming one comes with some hefty fines!  When it comes to Nuisance Birds the damage they can do is often underestimated.  Once the situation warrants bringing Wildlife Control company out to get involved drastic measures have to be taken.  Each situation is different. We have options: some we can trap with a permit if the circumstances are right. We can offer hazing services without a permit.  The type of hazing devices either electronic or manual auditory or visual depends on the species of bird.  There are lots of options for removing the birds, scaring them off and keeping them away.  We can help!

Dahlonega Coyote & Fox Control

In Dahlonega, there is obviously a healthy population of both Fox & Coyote. We are very selective about the coyote & fox trapping jobs that we accept.  The circumstances & setting has to be right for us to get involved.  All predator trapping (fox trapping & coyote trapping) are two-week jobs which include daily trap checks.  Not only is it the LAW accordance to our licensure but it is humane & less of a liability.   We have only one Licensed Wildlife Trapper who specializes in the predators.  Call us to discuss the details of your situation.

Raccoon Trapping & Control

Raccoon trapping is in a class of its own.  The trapping is a one-week endeavor as the rodents with daily trap checks as well.  Where this differs is we do not necessarily provide a quote to seal a home when it is only a raccoon problem.  We like using full disclosure when outlining the benefits of a full home exclusion.  When we seal a home from rodents a raccoon can come along and tear the shingles off, siding off, or trim boards and gain entry to a sealed home. We do not like giving people a false sense of security when it comes to keeping raccoons out.  Here is the way to avoid getting them in your attic.  Most raccoons like living outside and have never experienced the comfort & security of moving into an attic.  The ones who are familiar with the attic lifestyle, as soon as you hear them trying, get someone out to trap and remove them.  They can be tenacious and mischievous.  We have to control the population in your yard as well as remove the ones that want inside your attic.

Beaver Trapping & Control

Beaver trapping services (Aquatic species) is a specialized trapping service that we provide.  These jobs, like predator trapping, are for 2 weeks at a time and not the standard 1-week timeframe.  Here is the biggest concern we have with the industry as a whole…. before you hire any trapper to make sure they perform the daily trap checks that are required by law. Period!  The price charged for beaver trapping depends on the size and type of waterway, the area that the Beaver Trapper has to travel to set & check his traps as well as the terrain.  When you call us to discuss the problem we will provide you with a range for the trapping based upon your specific job needs and circumstances.  We also provide dam removal services where we restore the natural water flow when we are done trapping.

Opossum Trapping & Removal

Possums are beneficial as the nighttime clean-up crew.  They remove a lot of things that you would not want in your yard anyways.  Possums are probably one of the easier trapping services that we provide since possums are not the smartest of the animals we have in Georgia.  When we trap & remove the possums, if there was a den site on your property, we can provide you with a quote to treat the ticks and fleas that have more likely infested the den.  This trapping service also is for a one-week timeframe.  We are there every single day checking the traps and removing any possums that we catch.

Dead Animal Location, Pickup & Cleanup

If you have a dead animal in your yard, attic or in a wall… it doesn’t matter where it is.  If in a wall or attic we can search for the source and offer means of removal & odor control.  If it is in your yard we can pick it up and you do not have to be home.  We will grab it and get payment over the phone and email the receipt.  Some of the dead animals that we pick up are:

ANIMAL DAMAGE REPAIR & CLEANUP SERVICES

Animal removal services do not restrict their work to removal of the offending animals. We will offer to mend any destruction of the property caused by wild animals. We will repair the animal damage, clean up any feces, deodorize & sanitize any messes left behind which will eliminate any kind of offensive smell left behind by these animals. If the offensive smell is not promptly eliminated, it can draw more animals back to your residence. It is however recommended that you first do some research to get to know the companies that you want to hire since not all of them are licensed or insured.
